Word counting tool

The widely used typing software is the Microsoft Word which is fully packed with plenty of features and options that suit both the basic and the advanced user. In certain cases, such as in a data entry office, the manager will have to pay the employee based upon the number of words that he/she has typed in. Thus, the need for a word counting software arises which can also count words of multiple files together.
There are plenty of software tools especially dedicated for the purpose of word counting. However these tools are only available for free on a trial basis as one will have to purchase the full version if he would like to use it continuously. There is also the option of Inset Text from file in the MS Word itself using which the user can add multiple files to the word document and find the total number of words typed in.
