Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis is an inflammatory disease of the Central Nervous System. It is a disease of†white matter†tissue and white matter is made up of nerve fibers helping to transmit communication signals both within the Central Nervous System and between the Central Nervous System and the nerves supplying rest of the body. No two people get Multiple Sclerosis in exactly the same way and the expression of each individual’s disease is as unique as their fingerprints because nerve damage to one site usually causes completely different symptoms than damage to another. It is usually a slowly progressing disease and adjustments have to be made so that you can live fulfill and active lives. A recent study related to multiple sclerosis has proved that there are two new genes involved in multiple sclerosis which can be provided treatment using Vitamin D.
